Help us bless others!
There are many families in our community that are in need. JORM is always collecting all types of non-perishable foods and easy to prepare food items. We have been receiving an increased number of requests for food & clothing each week and we want to be able to help as many families as possible. We never want to turn anyone away because our food pantry is low.
This is an excellent chance to make a difference in the lives of many families as well as making a significant impact on our community. We are asking & encouraging you to join us in this effort to help the fine people in this city. The items we collect will help JORM supply food and clothing to adults and children. We need your help so we can continue to bless & encourage those that have a need.

As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you’re in good spirits and health! Right now, we’re doing everything possible to sustain daily operations and provide services to our community. While there’s a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt fast to our changing reality. Now, more than ever, our community needs us. And we need you.
Attention All K-12 Students!
It's that time of year to get in gear for college if you are planning to attend one. If you are in need of financial assistance or help with filling out admission, FAFSA, or scholarship applications please contact JORM. We will be more than happy to assist in anyway we can. There are so many scholarships out here to help with the cost of attending college or a technical school. Don't delay because a lot of the applications have deadlines. Email us at JORMinfo@gmail.com. If you are a high school or college student and would like to give a helping hand, please fill a contact form or email us, and we will contact you with more info on how you can receive volunteer hours. North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship (www.ncseaa.edu) priority deadline is March 1, 2023. If you would love for your child(ren) to attend and private school next year, but can't afford it, this may be the scholarship for you! There is up to $6,492 in grant funds available per child for the 2023-2024 school year (grades K-12th). Contact us today for more info on how to apply before the deadline.
